Welcome to the official website of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Gamma Omega Chapter. Gamma Omega has a rich history of service to the Greater Saint Louis, Missouri area and beyond. On December 2, 1920, six gifted women, chartered Gamma Omega chapter to meet the Sorority’s growth demands in the area. 102 years later, our membership has grown to 500 plus professional women that span generations with diverse careers. I am honored and grateful to serve as the 55th President of the third oldest Graduate Chapter in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®.
Service to All Mankind is the heartbeat of our Sorority. Under the leadership of International President, Danette Anthony Reed, the 2022-2026 International Program, “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood™” will focus on the following 6 initiatives:
Gamma Omega chapter is the place for a productive sisterhood. Actively exhibiting greatness, delivering results, and guaranteeing members elevate with purpose and pride we are forward thinkers as we give back to our community. The 2023–2024 chapter administration theme is "Elevate Gamma Omega in Sorors, Service and Operations." With a signature program to Elevate STEM in the Greater St. Louis Area, Gamma Omega will elevate our service efforts through collaboration, partnerships and delivering sustainable program events in the community.
If you are a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® and looking for a chapter home, join us as we Elevate Gamma Omega on the second Saturday of each month for chapter meeting. Meetings start at 10:30 AM and held at Harris Stowe State University, Main Auditorium. The Friday before chapter meeting, please contact me at akagopresident55@gmail.com and provide your name, financial card number, or certificate of membership to verify your credentials.
