Michaela Auriel Wells

Michaela Auriel Wells, the daughter of Michael A. Wells and Sherrone Beatty-Wells, is a graduate of Clayton High School. She served as secretary and community service chair for the Black Student Union, was a member of the varsity girls’ golf team, and manager of the varsity boys’ golf team. After playing three-years on the Mathews-Dickey Junior PGA team, she transitioned to a Mathews-Dickey Junior PGA coach. She served as Central Region teen vice president of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., St. Clair County Chapter and volunteered with the Jackie Joyner Kersee Foundation after school reading program. During her FASHIONETTA™ experience, she participated in various community service projects: Motion for Kids Christmas celebration, Thanksgiving canned goods drive, Christmas toy drive, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.®, Gamma Omega Chapter - MLK Day Sunday Supper honoring veterans. Michaela will pursue a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Jackson State University. Her career goal is to be a pharmacist. Michaela’s mother, aunts, Sharon Beatty and Bernice Beatty Johnson, are members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.®
