Lutheran North High School
Jasmine Bibbey, the daughter of LaMelda Thompson and James Bibbey, is a graduate of Lutheran North High School. High honor roll, induction into the National Honor Society, and the Rochester Book Award for Community Service and Academics are listed among her achievements. She was a student ambassador, member of Turning Resources and Energy into New Directions (TREND), Peer Ministry, Phenomenal Women, and praise dance team. She was a four-year member of the volleyball team, two-year track and field team member, and basketball and football cheer member. She tutored middle school students and volunteered at Jamestown Bluff Branch Library, churches, and daycare facilities. As a FASHIONETTA debutante, she participated in various community service projects: Thanksgiving canned goods drive, Christmas toy drive, Motion for Kids Christmas celebration, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.®, Gamma Omega Chapter - MLK Day Sunday Supper to honor veterans. Jasmine is a member of Mount Beulah Missionary Baptist Church. She plans to attend Spelman College to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Biology with an emphasis in pre-medicine. Her career goal is to be an anesthesiologist.
