Asher LaCarrol Clarke, the daughter of Jonathan Anthony and Mary Jackson Clarke, is a graduate of Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School. She was a four-year honor roll student, Admissions Ambassador co-head, African American Mentor co-head, Upper School Diversity Leadership Conference facilitator, varsity volleyball team captain, varsity cheerleader, and MICDS Metro District Choir candidate. She participated in the Students Study Abroad program, which allowed her to visit three continents. In service to the community, she served as a World Food Day ambassador, taught swim and safety lessons at Ackerman Swim School, volunteered with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.®, Gamma Omega Chapter - MLK Day Sunday Supper, Motion for Kids, and a Thanksgiving food collection drive. She serves as teen parliamentarian of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., St. Louis Chapter and attends First Baptist Church of Chesterfield, where she serves with the usher, choir, and Faith First ministries. Asher plans to major in health sciences at Spelman College to prepare for a career in pediatric medicine. Asher’s mother is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® (179)
